My essay on marine natural capital published in official T20 compendium for India’s G20 presidency

My essay on “Accelerating the SDGs through Investments in Marine Natural Capital” has been published as part of the official T20 compendium for India’s G20 presidency. The essay explores how investing in each of four marine ecosystems (coral reefs, mangroves, seagrass and seaweed) could accelerate the SDGs and harness the blue economy’s full potential.

Next week I will speak at the "Valuing Natural Capital Conference" in Geneva, hosted by Geneva Macro Labs in collaboration with ILO, UNITAR, UNCDF, Harvard University, FootPrint Coalition and ServiceNow. My presentation will focus on the role of marine natural capital in mitigating climate change, drawing on insights from my work leading Economist Impact's World Ocean Initiative.
