Speaking at Sustainable Foods London

I am looking forward to speaking about what a just and regenerative aquaculture system could look like at Sustainable Foods London next week.

Sustainable Foods London focuses on tackling the key sustainability challenges that are affecting the Food and Drink (F&D) Industry. The 3rd edition of Sustainable Foods London, taking place on November 6th-7th 2023, welcomes senior executives from across the F&D chain. It convenes high-level government officials, C-level leaders, technology disruptors, leading investors and many other senior figures, driving real change across global Food and Drink. I will be representing the international sustainability non-profit Forum for the Future, which is internationally recognised for its approach to driving systems change and inspiring alternative futures. Learn more about Forum here: https://www.forumforthefuture.org/

At Forum, we believe we need a socially just and ecologically safe shift to a food system fit for a radically different future. A food system that optimises for people and the planet, balancing health and nutritional outcomes with restoration of the ecosystems and farming livelihoods on which we all depend.

This must be underpinned by both climate mitigation and adaptation practices, with a focus on mainstreaming regenerative agriculture, enhancing resilience and transforming the supply chains that deliver key commodities from plant to plate, crop to cup.
